Membership Information

Access to a community network of fellow women business owners and entrepreneurs.
Direct access to community partners for assistance with business related needs.
Listed as a member on the WIB806 website.
Opportunities to attend monthly meetings and events while learning how to succeed and advance your business.
Opportunities to host or co-host a monthly meeting or event, coordinating the event location, details, and program.
Complimentary admission to the annual year-end gala.
Eligibility to nominate and be nominated for one of the WIB806 annual awards.
First preference for contract services for WIB806 (tshirts, printing, catering, etc).
Eligibility to serve as a WIB806 board member or committee member.
Membership into the WIB806 Facebook group, where you can promote your business, services, and special events to group members on any day of the week. (Non WIB806 members can only share their business on Sunday.)

Membership is open to women who own, co-own, or are in the start-up phase of their own business.
Membership is in the name of the individual, not the organization.
All members will be required to pay annual dues of $65 in accordance with their date of official membership.
Dues are for the membership year (August-May) and are not prorated based on when you join during the year.
Dues are non-refundable and are not deductible as a charitable contribution for Federal Income Tax purposes.
Members will be expected to uphold the strong reputation of the organization by creating, doing, working, and positively affecting the community as business owners.
Guests policy for monthly meetings: Guests are allowed to attend the monthly lunch meetings for a $5 fee (in addition to the cost of lunch).
Guest policy for other events: Some events are members-only, some are open to non-members (some complimentary and some for an additional fee). More details specific to guests are available in the description of each event on the Events page.


